The big air is incredible but barring when they fall I am clueless as to what the scores are likely to be.
Spin/tricks can be a bit difficult to see, but the other main points of the scoring is how clear/long they hold the grab trick, how high/long they jump, clean landing without touching the snow. The big air is incredible but barring when they fall I am clueless as to what the scores are likely to be.
Probably a daft question thos but if you didn't get as much air (height and length) but squeeze pure tricks in, would you get credit for that? Like, cos you've had less time to do em in?Spin/tricks can be a bit difficult to see, but the other main points of the scoring is how clear/long they hold the grab trick, how high/long they jump, clean landing without touching the snow.
You won't get extra points for it, as it's harder to go big and get enough momentum for the spins at the same time. Also the time you hold the grab is key for the execution portion of the scoring. But the difficulty of the trick is obviously very important, similar to the landing in terms of points, so you can still get a decent score with less air.Probably a daft question thos but if you didn't get as much air (height and length) but squeeze pure tricks in, would you get credit for that? The commentators for the snowboarding: cackling and whooping away in commentary using words like 'rad', 'stoked' etc etc...I thought they were in their 20s with braids or a modern mullet - and then we see them being interviewed in their commentary booth and they're both baldy and about 50!I can't stand the commentators on the skiing. They sound like they've been at the white powder - not snow by the way.
If you mean the big air and slopestyle ones I think they’re great - love hearing such enthusiastic commentatorsThe commentators for the snowboarding: cackling and whooping away in commentary using words like 'rad', 'stoked' etc etc...I thought they were in their 20s with braids or a modern mullet - and then we see them being interviewed in their commentary booth and they're both baldy and about 50!
