My three favourites are curling, speed skating and boarder cross. Hope the ICE agents out there don’t get too confused by the last one

You often do this thing where you feign ignorance when being called out and try to gaslight people responding to you. You know exactly what it means but you refuse to ever own your stupid wind up comments.

You might not understand the word “wind” in this context and think I’m talking about what activates the deadly turbines near BMD.

But for clarity, you’ve spent a day having a go at Lindsey Vonn and built up some weird conspiracy based vendetta against her. Then you hear she’s actually broken her leg and justify your volte-face by deciding you are in her corner because she doesn’t like Trump. Maybe just accept you were wrong without having to justify it with another agenda.

I couldn’t do this commentary just walking to the local shop, let alone skiing down an Olympic course.

Impressed by her doing it.

(The Austrian TV co-commentator - Nicole Schmidhofer these days - does this before all the World Cup speed races. She's a bit younger, though, and was a better skier in her day.)

I thought she'd clinched it with the last big jump that she somehow stuck. That final was telling by how many failures, falls and refusals we saw.

Previous repeat gold medalists got taken out, so either the course is a bit tricky or conditions are tough. Curling later. Semi final, so could guarantee a medal...
