I'm considering opening a bottle of Malbec.

Rioja and Malbec are my go to wines. Not that I'm an expert or anything.

Unfortunately not. Only Weinstuben. Plenty of choice though.

Just having a glass of sauvignon blanc by Fincher and Co, New Zealand.

There's a nice wine supplier just on Park Street by me that was selling some mixed cases with some great stuff in there.

I drink red or white or even rose depending on my mood.

Chilled white whilst cooking in a hot kitchen is one of my staples though.

I do like a good Malbec. Also spicy, less fruity variants of Merlot and Shiraz.

I have quite a few bottles of my favourite wine Brunello di montalcino in the back of the cupboard. Only problem is most of them need another 3-5 years to enjoy them at their best.

I find living on my own I tend to drink less wine because I can't get through the whole bottle on my own. Tends to lead to me throwing a lot away.

Rioja always Rioja.

There is a region to the west of Rioja called Bierzo. I do not believe it is as well known; they certainly do not export it as much as Rioja. I think it is a fine wine, and usually it is quite a bit cheaper if you are in country. Apparently it is associated with working class or peasantry, but I believe it to be a great drop. Maybe I am just a peasant haha.
