No. Would never boo one of our own players. The statement he has made is correct. It's not a money thing with him it's ambition and I hope he gets the reassurances needed to sign the contract.
Even if he does sign can you see him staying at Everton for the full extent of the contract? It's very unlikely.

Boo him ?

He has spoke the truth and said what we all know he hasn't handed a transfer request in or downed tools he has said he won't sign new deal.

We have 2 years on his contract if we go out and blitz the market and don't sell him early in the window he may have a change of heart

If not we get a massive return on a player who hasn't let us down and lived up to his side of his contract in scoring goals.

And he will get the champions league football his talent deserves

And if anyone is getting booed on Saturday it should be the absolute lying FRAUD Kenwright and his band of merry men.

If we want a good summer then he has to go. He should have been hounded out after last summer but unfortunately we are too timid to do what Lukaku has done.

ELSTONE OUT
KENWRIGHT OUT

Pretty much spot on mate! Can you email this to the board make them take note!

Bully the club? How is he? Spiteful? Actually think about what you are saying.

It appears he wanted a lower valuation as a release clause. It seems we value him at a higher figure. This appears to be the sticking point.
We have stuck to our valuation and contract offer, and it appears are reluctant to move. The agent and player upon realising this then release a statement saying he will not sign. In my opinion heaping pressure on the club to cave in to the agent/players demands, this seems underhanded as it all could have quite easily waited until the end of the season.

Sums this thread up.
People getting worked up and panicking when actually none of us know ANYTHING about the negotiations :coffee:

Slept on it. Changed my vote yet again to not boo. I still think the whole farce is a ploy by his agent to move him out of the club and in the process completely messing with the fans emotions. But there is enough doubt in there to suggest this may not be the case.

I'm going to get behind him in the hope he shows the same form and endeavour we've seen of late, and would urge all blues to do the same.
