Steve Wigan
Player Valuation: £35m
He has converted his loans to the club into shares.
So, if he sells he's guaranteed his pay back ?

You know that the value of shares can and do go down.
IMHO, the jurnos get direction from John Thompson the sport editor at the echo. This is the fella who has been the gatekeeper for the club at the echo.
Loving Bill Kenwright/his board and loving Everton are two completely different things. This this the same Echo that when the situation demands, posters on here call 'The Red Echo' , the paper that 'loves the RS but not Everton'?
Yep. Of course they can. Just as much at Villa as at Everton.........

Exactlly.
If paper reports are to be believed then their business is more attractive and the price pitched at the correct level.
And to think the Milwaukee Bucks, the worst team in the NBA this season, have been sold for $550m this week. It took the owner about 4 months to sell the team, and the new owners (two investment funds owners) are even matching his $100m contribution to go towards a new arena!
Yet people don't buy sports teams according to Kenwright.
Learner is brilliant mate, he has the whole world believing hes a great owner who has been hard done by bad managers - truth being he takes 15% of their revenue out of the club in Interest on the loans/money he has given them - that what he charges on loans not the loan repayments themselves. I find that extrodinary given his favourable media profile. Thankfully i dont think an Everton owner would get away with it.
See this article towards the end under the picture of stars in their eyes, he runs Villa the same way as he runs MBNA and they love him for it. Bad carpet bagger - but in a way admirable that he hasnt been cottoned onto.

'If paper reports are to be believed' Glad that you at least agree thats a possibility, Mr Blue! So you reckon Villa are worth more than twice as much as Everton ? (Given that the usual suspects 'acceptable price' for Everton is around £80 million)
