imo the glazers will breathe a bit of a sigh of relief when saf has gone as he rules the roost (albeit very succesfully), his word is final. they will then get on with running their franchise in their own way, i think the last thing they will want is another stubborn scotsman coming in , and will opt for one of the managers that has moved around the top teams, jose will surely be at the top of their list.
moyes will get closer to achieving the impossible at Everton and will take great satisfaction that what he is doing is all down to hard work, he will get a lot from the fact that he has taken relatively unknown players and turned them into winners.
i remember a team once that this was said of, "a team that contains no real household names, players that if you ask a housewife about then they have never heard of them" that team went on to win the f.a.cup, the league, the cup winners cup, charity shields, close to a treble, close to a double. the housewives knew their names then, and not on the basis that they were always on the front pages. this is what moyes is being forced to do through a lack of funds, it's all good and well lashing huge amounts at players but if they prove to be lame ducks then that fee becomes a big loss, people say we shouldve spent on moutinho, nobody else is exactly jumping at his buyout clause, maybe zenit will march in with their arshavin dough and activate the clause, he wont want to go but sporting will say "sorry son it works both ways, your goin'. btw take your coat we hear its a bit nippy out there".
