Will Don Carlo be given the time and funds?

Somewhere around 14th to 10th place would be acceptable for me this season with that squad. Remember, at the start of the season the talk was about us getting in the top seven or so. If Ancelotti is as good as his CV would suggest, then all is well, and I'm just going to sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.

We need to get up the table so that players dont see us as being in a relegation battle.

There are 7 out of 8 winnable league games coming up:

Burnley H
Newcastle A
City A
Brighton H
West Ham A
Newcastle H
Watford A
Palace H on the 8th February

United 6pts
Arsenal 4pts

We need to chase both of these two down ASAP so we dont look in such a poor position in comparison.

Obviously, I agree with your post mate, but we've had a lot of 'winnable games' this season; the problem is winning them, which for the most part we have failed to do. Even though I believe we've appointed a better hen, I'm still not counting my chickens before they've hatched. I personally believe our current squad is better than it's given credit for and is more than capable of moving up the table. I was just saying that I could live with finishing around the 14th to 10th mark and wouldn't feel like the sky is falling down. The way football is, we could easily finish 14th this season and 4th next season.
