Will Don Carlo be given the time and funds?

From the starting lineup yesterday guess he’ll only be interested in Pickford, Digne, Mina, Sidibe, Richarlison and possibly Calvert-Lewin. That’s a tasty rebuild on his hands

Yes he will be given time and funds. He is Moshiri’s Hollywood manager, he has a massive reputation, and the ability to attract top players.
I think we are a vanity project for Carlo, he wants to show the football world that he can build a top team from scratch. I for one won’t bet against him doing just that,

Manager on the decline who's never took over a team in such a poor state, Bit like Jose in the way he needs lots of cash to overhaul a squad, problem is we won't attract the players he's used to and needs

Less of the insults pal, if you can't have an intelligent discussion then please move on

LOL on the decline because you said? If getting Napoli to second and qualifying for the champions league is from this guy in decline I mean woooooooohooooooooo

If we’re all being honest, we’d bin 80% of the squad. They’re not good enough unless treading water around 10th-14th is acceptable.

I worry for the Don and he hasn’t even been in charge for one game yet.

Can anyone name me a club where he’s taken over such a bad squad and been successful?
A creative mid and dependable striker would sort it. The squad is not that bad, half of it is injured

I think the idea that a team needs time to be successful is a myth. Good managers make the players they have better. They can turn 5s into 7s and 7s into 8s with great man management and tactics that suit the players they have not the players they wish they had.

Leicester is a shining example of being a champion team instead of a team of champions. They won the premier league because the tactics were spot on for the players they had.

The players in our squad are good enough to be where we want them to be. Plenty of us thought we would be pushing the top 6 at the start of the season and they still are with the right management

Forza Don Carlo

It’s the worst group of players he’s managed in a couple of decades. He defo needs time, the club is a mix of 5 different managers players. His hardest job will be getting more out of the lads who are already here, then adding more quality to it.
