Will Don Carlo be given the time and funds?

If we’re all being honest, we’d bin 80% of the squad. They’re not good enough unless treading water around 10th-14th is acceptable.

I worry for the Don and he hasn’t even been in charge for one game yet.

Can anyone name me a club where he’s taken over such a bad squad and been successful?

Well no, Malaga got banned from Europe for 2 years, reduced to 1 on appeal.

But that was very much an example being made.

I think a few other teams were given bans also.

Oh well - I guess missing out in Europe wouldn’t be so bad anyway, if it means we focus on hovering up some domestic titles.

Malaga were banned for failing to pay their debts, which is is bit different to having owners that are willing to lose their own money.

also, I would imagine breaches would be more heavily punished the more they happen. If people think they can just get away with a fine then everyone will break the rules.

EFC go bankrupt and succumb to a winding up order due to paying out gazillions to fired managers.

Let’s let the man manage. Get behind the team. Ferguson did well to get a tune out of this shower and 5 points in 3 matches. Hopefully we get a new manager bounce, but I can’t really see us knowing what this man is really about this season. We’ve got some good players but some poor ones. We still need slimming down a fair bit and poor quality replacing with real quality and proper competition. In conjunction with brands we’ve got about the best we can get with a proven track record. No excuses now let’s get behind him.

Definitely in silvas case was totally down to fans reaction,the board didn’t want to sack him.just hope our fans don’t start acting like divvys If Carlo loses a few games.this fella needs time and money
