Wigan in Administration

Yeah I'm sure I heard that. If with the deduction they stay up, then they'll delay the deduction until next season!! Crazy! Surely illegal too??

Like mentioned earlier, the EFL are crooked..

So they keep the penalty points till they actually get relegated? Or not promoted?

That ant be right.

I think its the otherway round, if they finish in the relegation zone without the deduction it will be applied next season when they are in league one. If they finish outside the relegation zone the deduction will apply this season

Very interesting series of tweets for anyone on Twitter but seems to implicate a Darren royle. Isn’t that big Joe’s son?

I couldn't see anything in the tweets about him mate, can you link up what you saw ?

Darren Royle is Joe's lad, and he's Exec Chairman of the club, so I'd expect him to be mentioned, but hopefully not in an incriminating way. Joe's on the board there too. Hopefully they get it sorted sooner rather than later.

However, having entered administration last week, the club will receive a 12-point deduction at the end of the season from the EFL.

If the Latics finish in the bottom three without any deduction, the penalty will then be carried across to next season, otherwise, it will be applied after all 46 league games have been played out.

Crooked regardless, if Rick Parry is aware of a possible betting fraud, Then he should be aware he hasn’t done his problem.

In my work, if a Trader does something wrong but we haven’t done the relevant checks, then we’re wrong cause we didn’t do the checks.

Clearly EFL Has Seen Money in a bank account and agreed blindly. It’s their fault, I dont think Wigan should be docked points personally, but then you open up a situation where all owners will try something similar.

Yeah that's basically what I meant...

They shouldn't be able to pick and choose when it's applied. It should be a fixed rule. Either the current season or the next..

Fingers crossed they can pick up a few more points. With the 12 point deduction, they are out of the relegation zone. Level.on 45 points with Hull but better goal difference +25

Would be brilliant if the owners and the EFL were screwed over at the same time.
