Is crowdfunder guaranteed money or can donations be fake? Cos I just checked and they're over half a million.

People pay the money, the site holds the money until the ‘goal’ is reached or until the time comes to spend the money, at which point it is withdrawn.
It’s not guaranteed in the sense that if they don’t get to a place where spending the money that has been donated will complete their target (presumably getting out of administration in this case) then they get none of the money.
