Wigan fans

Sadly mate, the amount of fans they bring has nothing to do with if we will batter them or not.

...absolutely. They could've got something on Boxing Day and this will be difficult. I was chatting with somebody close to WAFC who reckons Martinez will stick with his policy of using fringe players in the FA Cup, but I can't see this being straightforward.

It's a Premier League rule that clubs have to charge away fans the same as home fans for the same standard of seat.

City fans paid £62 to visit the Emirates this season, Stoke paid £35.50 to sit in the same seats. So how does that work then?

Away tickets should just be a low, set price for every single club. £20, £10 for kids and over 65s.

I don't see why they should be any cheaper than what the home fans have to pay tbh.

I just think it's scandalous that the likes of Arsenal can charge their own & away fans £35.50 a ticket one week & £62 the next, to sit it the same seat.

Hate attitudes like this.

They're a far smaller club than us with far fewer fans. Doesn't mean the ones that do turn up are any less deserving than us.

Is it their fans fault they're a small club? I say credit to them for actually following their local team rather than picking the easy option of United/City/Everton/Liverpool.
What attitude? They've filled their ground before, just not every week.

Turning down 6,200 tickets is poor imo, their fans have hardly any passion.

Well said, the fact they've managed to stay in the Prem for so long is little short of miraculous.

No need to rip the piss - quite the opposite in fact.

Makes me smile because when it suits they're a gang of no marks without any fans or any hope yet the minute martinez is mentioned as Moyes successor it's "he's always fighting relegation" - very pertinent, I think not.

Pretty sure Oldham are a smaller club than Wigan, and yet they sold 6000 tickets for a midweek game they had a very small chance of winning.

Wigan are one game away from Wembley and they're struggling to sell 3000 tickets. Embarrassing.
