If he insists on playing Osman can't it be for Mirallas?

Once in possession does Jags have to pass to Coleman, who will pas it back to Jags, who will give it to Distin, who will pass to Coleman, Who will pas to Jags...........

When Lukaku's strength seems to be over the top to run at defenders do we push it out to Coleman, who passes to Jags...........

I do like a passing team but Most of the time we overplay and achieve very little.

And now my Xmas has bee ruined by Osman and Howard... Why couldn't Howard just let it in, easier to come back from one down than one down and a man down.

All in all a **** day................

Because either
A ) he's a goal keeper and its a natural reaction when a player is coming at him

or

B ) if he would have let Ki waltz round him and score, and we didn't find a way back into the game then he would have been absolutely slated by everyone on this forum.

We've played really good football all season, the last 3 games we haven't been our best but winning (apart from today); Sunderland came for a point and got 3. **** happens

It hurt so much today because of the timing, not only matching the top 4 for so long, but gaining and gaining yet somehow always sitting just outside the top 4... Today against the worst team in the league, 3 points meant we had to get into the top 4 spot, I know its not important, but being 2 points off the lead in 3rd or 4th against being 5th and 5 points away feels like a massive missed opportunity. That and losing our 100% Goodison record for the year this close to the end doesn't help either.
That being said with 10 men we were totally dominant at times and were deserving of at least a point, should be proud of how we fought back, just gutted we got in that position in the first place.

Without that sending off it would it would have been 4-0 to us.Keeper's error killed us in the first half. While their keeper was man of the match says it all.
