Because he's terrified Barkleys heads gonna be turned ive thought this all for a while now, with RM's constant "he's not ready for England yet" talk and the media hype around him I think he is genuinely worried about Barkleys head being turned and wanting to leave ala Rooney. Lukaku looks alot more tired and in need of a rest yet he isn't rested so why a lad in great form who doesn't even look tired? on not just one occasion either Crystal Palace and Spurs aswell in which we have picked up just 2 points in those 3 games 2 of these being teams sat in 20th place, not good enough and he needs pulling up on it.

Calm down lad.

We're playing some beautiful football and it's a joy to go to Goody Park these days. Sh^te result today and mistakes were made but look at where we are, both in the table and the way we're playing. Can you honestly say before we kicked a ball this season that we'd have only lost two games and would be sat in fifth place ?

Exactly chaps & chapesses - some perspective is required - most of us have backed Roberto so far so lets continue doing it - didn't hear any complaints against Ossie when he scored v Fulham...not saying that I wasn't disappointed when Barkley didn't start but he does not deserve some of the stick he gets on here - the 2nd half display could have drawn or won for us -10v 12 given Probert's performance. Unbelievable. Every Evertonian bar you is delighted with the new passing style yet you want to revert to hoof football. I will tell you this.....we would have less points if we did your way.

Why didn't Howard just let it in?? Answer is because he would of been lynched by the Street End. No Goalkeeper would just let a goal in. Have a strong cup of coffee.
