Why can't we beat the ****e at Anfield?

Because that lot, although they won't admit it, sees us coming in as a big, big, big game. Then they do what teams are supposed to do for big games - rise to the occasion. They will play out of their minds in that game. Question is: Will we do so as well? If we do, we will win, as we are the better squad. However, sadly, history points to them stepping up, and us, well, not.

Some of the comments in here justify my theory.

Have the game lost before its been played - in admit to feeling a similar way, but that's half the battle, winning the mental and mind games.

Liverpool have had a better side than us for the vast majority of Moyes' tenure. It's only the last season or two where you could make a case for us being the better team.

It's a poor record, but at most you'd say Moyes should have won there once or twice.

yeah, the bridge has never been big enough to justify his record though. The bridging of the gap was majorly down to him so swings and roundabouts i guess. losing 3 to that ****e squad they had last season was unforgiveable though. Bry has it right with in the head - it's why united are so far ahead on the league. The have it in their head as a club they're going to win most of their games, despite having not a great squad this season

royston how old r you ??

The thing is, we'll never win at Anfield under David Moyes. His negative tactics and playing for draws justify that.

Its weird, but I dont blame Moyes.

/shrug

No, not blame - its easy to blame him. I think he needs to be responsible for ensuring the players approach the game better ( because they obviously don't )

Sure we had drenthe ruin one, pienaar ruin one, big, big games, literally the night before?

These sort of things don't help, and that's HIS responsibility to ensure it doesn't effect the teams preparation.
