Whose fault - Howard, Osman -- or Martinez?

1 Martinez for playing Osman
2 Osman for putting his GK in a world of trouble
2 Howard for thinking Osman was capable of doing anything other than what he did.

Pretty fair summation, I think.

Martinez will already have seen today's game on video. I bet he's screaming at the screen "Ay, Caramba! Why the **** did I pick that pie eating Wigan midget over Barkley?"

what bothers me is that we couldnt score now how many mistakes going forward were made? them mistakes cost us the game imo.

How is it Martinez's fault? it was a completely comical error.

Howard shouldn't be playing that pass... he can see the entire field. Even if Osman got the ball cleanly... Osman would have had to pass back to Howard, which makes the first pass kind of redundant unless you want to insist on always playing a ground pass kicking out.

What staggers me is that Howard always makes ****house mistakes like this... i guess I can't complain... he's been a match winner in some matches this season... but then his concentration always goes to **** and he makes a massive **** up.

It's not so much the pass or Osman's error, for me the worst part is the foul on Ki... yes **** is happening at 100 miles an hour, but still no excuse... Howard should be doing as much as he can without fouling, he should know if he fouls it is a straight red card. I'd rather let a goal in against Sunderland then go to 10 men... really ****ty at Howard for going gung ho like that.

Agreed. We could have turned the game around if we had all 11 on the pitch. We battered them for long periods with 10 men.

If you cant trust a player who's played over 200+ games for us and bagged a few England caps to control the ball near his own box, then what can you do?

Martinez has every right to play him.

I'd say blame should be approx 20% Martinez for dropping Barkley for no reason whatsoever, 20% Howard for his stupid ****ing pass to Osman who had a man on him, and 60% Osman for being completely useless and not being able to control a simple ball or at the very least play a simple pass back to the goalkeeper.

Said this to my mate today; all the **** seems to do is play the comedian in interviews. The only thing funny about him in about the last seven years have been his performances on the field.
