Whose fault - Howard, Osman -- or Martinez?

I don't blame him for that one incident I blame him for not playing his strongest side which has cost us points against a team sat in 20th (he did the same against 20th place palace aswell) its not good enough mate if Ross was lacking in form or knackered fair enough but today it should have been the same side that beat Swansea confidence was high and we looked sharp now we play a team who's style of play is very effective against ours with us missing howard, Barry and maybe Mirallas with the lads probably more knackered being down to 10 chasing the game. A complete balls up from Martinez and Osman.
 
It's not about whose at fault - a proper "team" will not point fingers at eachother. They'll just get up and carry on with things. Blaming individuals will get us nowhere.

We did all we could, yet someone is still looking to lynch someone for that today!with 10 men for over an hour the oppo keeper still gets MOTM ?!

Disagree completely. ..totally Martinez fault...useless selection from the off...absolutely horrendous day for us as United come back to win, Chelsea are poor but still win, Newcastle demolish Stoke and Arsenal also come back from a goal down to win...we are now 5 points back ith Barry and Howard suspended. ..momentum gone, confidence gone...season will go downhill from here and Osman will start in place of Barry on Saturday. ..fcuking disgrace...

The same team minus one player, and apparently it's now 'useless'. Bet you lot were moaning when he took Barkley off for Osman against Villa and he then went on to win us the game eh.

Ross was on four yellows today as well btw, looking toward what should have been the much more difficult task against Southampton is no bad thing. What happened between Osman and Howard was a moment of madness.

Your right Tubey but only when the pass is on and let's be honest Howard has full view of everything and can see Ki a few yards away. Awful touch from Osman but then to make matters worse Howard brings him down which is a straight red. So for me, Howard ****s up twice, and Osman once. There's a time and a place to be a smart arse and that moment in the game was not the time or place. Pretty sure they done something similar against Chelsea but got away with it. **** it anyway, move on and get the points against the Saints.

Totally agree. I actually was anticipating Osman to start anyway - either for Pienaar or Barkley. When I saw the team I was confident. We started in control, if not looking 100%, and then one cock up has cost us. I agree with other posters that Osman shouldn't be starting in lots of games, and today has proved that we urgently need centre mid cover. Osman shouldn't start against Sotton, but he most likely will, and he needs to pick himself up and put in a good performance. Bet thing about this is that we're still well in the race for 4th, and our next game is coming around quickly so there's no time to dwell on things. Southampton are missing a few key players as well, so it's not gonna be a stroll in the park for either side.

Once osman had completely messed up and they were clear through I thought Howard may have used his brain and not tripped the player. I personally wouldn't have either of them in the first team.

So, are you saying that we should have won, just because we have been playing some brilliant boss football and beating all and sundry and played at home to the bottom club........is that what you are saying........
