I wouldn't blame if he got the job and took us down just to spite us after the way he was treated by the fans first time round..

You wouldn’t blame a manager for taking a multi million pound job and deliberately losing games to get them relegated because he was previously sacked with a multi million pound payout by the same club?

I think that's a fairly rational set of opinions, to be honest.

He had to go, and the club really ought to have been well ahead of that eventuality.

Whether your manager is doing well or doing poorly, they won't be at the club forever. There ought to be a continuously-evolving list of candidates at all times in case they get poached (Moyes, Ancelotti) or they get sacked (all the others).

He failed in his last job though, his style of play just doesn't equate to modern day football. The amount of folk saying if appointed then enough is enough, it would be suicidal from the club to bring Fat Sam in. Not just that he will happily rob the club blind of a lot of money.

So when i said "you just know they haven't even thought of replacing Frank" a month (and 2 weeks ago and a week and a couple days) ago i was being a bit facetious. Apparently i wasn't wrong.
