Who should replace Frank Lampard?

The really really sad thing here is that there are people who believe replacing him will matter.

It's staggering to me that there's been a stampede in recent weeks to get him out.

This team are going down regardless.

There isn't a case to be made for survival here.

I accept Lampard has to go. But for the life of me I cant understand how it will make us more competitive, because the bottom line here is that this is a player driven crisis and not a managerial one.
And I bet all this was said at the end of Benitez. But we replaced him and got out of it. No reason why this can't happen again. But we must act now.

If only this was true… ?

Because they don't have frauds as players. It's them who should be getting sacked not Frank.

I like Frank but it's patiently obvious it's not working is it, he had an excuse last year they weren't really his players, but a fair few are now and nothing changing, we look clueless and pedestrian going forward with little or no goal threat. Our midfield the same, provided hardly any cover for our defence, in fact our best midfielder came on in the second half Isaac Price, from the reserves. Our defenders have been okay this season but tonight were clueless, they were schooled by an 18 year old.
Maupay and McNeill must be the worst buys of the season no wonder we don't score many. Our tactics baffle me, the two in midfield are nearly always over run.

No Carlo would never have come if he didn’t think he could get us Europe. He spent a lot and started off ok, but ultimately like many other managers we have had it was rapidly going downhill at the end. Also he had it easier as a lot of his games were in lockdown that was an easier time to be a manager, had fans been in the ground i don’t think he would have got a lot of results he did. He wasn’t very good here.
His first job was to guarantee safety. We were 16th and 3 points above relegation, like I say, closer and with less to play than Allardyce was. So if Allardyce needed to save us, then Carlos first job was also to do so. He was certainly promised more money and expectation to push for Europe after saving us.

His only January signing was branthwaite. And most of the work to save us was before covid. He came for money ultimately and likely because of Usmanov but the reason he came is irrelevant. But let’s not re write history as if Allardyce is the only one who did his job. Because saving us wasn’t needed when he took over.

McNeill is one of the worse signings we have ever had. Out of his depth. I wanted it to work for Frank too but ultimately he's been let down by the players and the board.

Unfortunately the good managers are people sane enough not to want the job and any managers that are interested are likely to be delusional, chancers or in the managerial last chance saloon. If I were a football manager I wouldn’t touch us with a barge pole - these managers are well off financially - not sure I would want to be the manager who got the longest serving top flight team relegated for the first time in 70 years. That’s why I think it will be Ferguson as a short term appointment

I might finally be able to sack Everton off with this

Anyone basically.
He has absolutley lost it (if he ever had it !).
Enough is enough.
Pochettino is a pipe dream , but would be great.
So it basically boils down to Moyes (if WHU get rid of him ) or Dyche.
Either would be a massive improvement.
