Ask Pochettino what he wants paying to manage us. Villa managed to appoint Emery, Wolves got Lopetegui, both when they were in a mess. Premier League jobs pay well than most others in world football. He would get them running harder and pressing more effectively than Lampard has us doing.

Agree not a Hollywood style manager many fans seem to crave, but Dyche to me seems a good fit at this moment in time.

Dyche or Moyes are the right moves now. Get any illusions out of your heads about anything else. That's meant politely too.

We would get under 30 points with a "progressive" manager, never mind 40.

Nah. I don’t believe that. I think there would be enough managers that would be able to get this squad into relative safety…with a few signings.
