Who should replace Frank Lampard?

Has he been sacked yet, there’s no way he will still be here end Jan… I’d be staggered if he survives Brighton… when we lose, or typically we may get a draw… stay of execution, and delay the inevitable.

Lost too many games
I’m not sure what you mean by saying his record was ‘crap’ - what does that actually mean?

It needs to be considered in the context of what was inherited - not just the players on paper but the form and general state of mind around the club - not just the players, but extending to fans

And is it right to focus only on the manager re problems - is the fact that we do that actually part of the problem?

The issue here is a shortage of attacking players

Dont know until we ask mate.

Regardless of who comes in they simply cannot do any worse than Lampard currently.

We're the pits pal.
I think it would help us if people could reframe how they look at the club and the manager’s position within it as a factor in success and failure - sacking the manager can’t be the only solution each time we hit a bad run - surely it’s not so simple

Its a tough job at present but you can punch above your weight with a good manager.

Look at us under Wee Davey for years - we still had a rank board/chairman and little money to spend yet he did a fine job.

Lampards taken Derby from 6th to 6th and Everton from 16th to 16th. He's a run of the mill manager I'm afraid and it pains me to say that as no one wanted him to succeed more than I did.

Poch
Tuchel
Kovac
Thomas Fronk
Wee Davey

In that order.

All light years ahead of the current loser in charge.
Again because you don’t seem to get it

Poch - zero chance
Tuchel - laughs in our face or holds us over a barrel for a stupidly large wage
Kovac - Wolfsburg are 7th In Bundesliga with a good shot at making Europe, he wouldn’t be daft enough to chance it
Frank (that’s FRANK not Fronk) - just signed a new deal with Brentford and would be highly stupid to walk back on it
Moyes - would be the Luvvie’s choice

But what’s the answer? Keep changing managers hoping the next one will help the club do better? That hasn’t worked for the last few - most of whom were amongst the best candidates available at the time. So is the problem deeper than these managers we keep bringing in?

We seem to be in a position now where we won’t attract the top managers and are also in a bit of a fight

I guess maybe a relegation fight specialist could help

We did that before of course with Allardyce who got us 8th place, but people weren’t happy with it as they didn’t like his style of play

I bet you said Carlo would never entertain us or James Rodriguez was never joining us...
