Who should play behind Jelavic this season ?

Tbh, I couldn't choose a single one. I think it should depend on who you are playing against as to who you need in that role. I'd play Fellaini there against better, stronger defences, and someone quicker or nimbler there against slower defences.

He's been ace there for the past 2 years, but always gets shafted and shunted out wide to accommodate Cahill.

Before he signed for Everton I remember about 5 seconds of him when he played for Rangers in Sydney. Then the rest is YOUTOOBZ.

I didn't vote for him for that reason. If I had to put him in an Everton XI it would only be because of Jelavic. Surely.

I remember Jeff Stelling and most of the SSN presenters mentioning his name on a fairly regular basis. Up until he fell over and knackered his knee. Plus youtube is a ace scouting tool.

i picked barkley....reason being he is confident andwith his so called defensive weaknesses id rather see him given a shot there instead of waiting for him to become the cm moyes wants him to be

Yeah I just don't know enough about him. And Moyes usually takes his time blooding new players into the starting eleven.

But to be fair, he is one of the earliest transfers of recent summer windows. 7 weeks might be enough for him to convince Moyes. Still, he won't be in the XI against Man United. Possibly a sub though. That line-up, without injury, will have Fellaini in the hole with Pienaar left and Ossie right.

Id play Fellaini behind Jelavic against the likes of United, City, Arsenal and Chelsea... But for the rest id play Naismith. Fellaini cause a lot of trouble against United whilst playing there so i think he is more than capable of doing it against the rest of the better teams. But against the rest move him alongside Gibson and let them dominate the midfield.

Honestly now Cahill's gone there's really noone I would hate to see there out of our options. Unless Naismith bombs entirely, of course.
