I have a gut feeling that GK isn't a position that Koeman is making absolute top priority, he probably feels confident in going with Stekelenburg if we have too and buying a new number 1 is something that can wait for now.

I don't agree with this by the way, I think it's the position that needs sorting out the most. Just the lack of any solid links all summer with goalies though has me thinking Koeman hasn't looked too much into it.

Steks played in a World Cup final and has played several games in the Prem. I think he'll be ok. I'd go with Steks because he's the better keeper.

This is the only thing about the transfer window that annoys me to death. It was clear from the moment Howard left we needed a significant upgrade on our keeper and did nothing about it. Almost literally everybody said to not worry, 'Koeman likes to carry 3 keepers, this is a nothing signing!' when Stickelback signed. Less than a week from the start of the season and he's essentially our #1. Just so unreal this hasn't been sorted...
