OMG. Rooney clearly fell out with Moyes and they even went to court about things that were said in books and such. Moyes was a taskmaster on Rooney and a manager like Harry Redknapp would have got the best out of him. Moyes sucked for falling out with Rooney and he will suck for ever more in my eyes for that and many other things. I don't think he'd succeed elsewhere and I want a better manager in. One who will stop pandering to the board and who will make his own way of doing things. We need to sign players and sell them on consistently for profit. Missing out on the likes of Dale Jennings, N'Zogbia, Brunt, O'Hara and so on is not getting us anywhere. Here is a man who spent £15m on a CM who doesn't score goals knowing we'd have no money to back that signing up. He does OK but that's it. I want a real winner in, someone like Mark Hughes or Slaven Bilic, who has unfinished business at this club. Sticking with MOyes, means Moyes gets bigger, Everton GET Smaller....

No, mate. Rooney, and his classy agent plus our cash hungry board, already had this move worked out. Rooney's corner tried to paint their client in a better light, by CLAIMING that Moyes was the driver behind it all - I believe that it got settled, that those claims were out of order??

I'm not sure how old you are, but if you are measuring our amazing club's size, by this recent 10 year window and who has managed it, therein, then you obviously only believe what you are told by the Murdoch Empire.

Historically, we aren't a BIG club, we are MASSIVE.

no mate, don't mistake me for some no-mark. I know Everton, and I know my stuff. Rooney was a HUGE evertonian.

Moyes was a cock towards him and he forced him out cos he had no clue how to deal with the best Evertonian youngster for years and the best English youngster for years. That's my opinion. Rooney would have stayed at Everton had we had a manager like Redknapp who was not a cock towards him.

Or Jol.

What a stupid question.

How's it stupid?

How Everton are perceived in the sports, business, media industries is very pertinent so who the **** are you to say it's a stupid question. If you knew Everton, and knew your history, you'd know how pertinent it is right now. David Moyes is bigger than Everton, whether you like it or not. And he is nobody.

I have never ever been wrong in my life mate. Ever. Especially when it comes to footballing matters. This thread of mine, I hope hits home with old-school Everton fans. It's those fans who will make this club great again. Trust me. Liverpudlians rule.

Humans have nine orifices ( orifii ?? )
"I have never been wrong in my life" suggests you're using the wrong one for talking through.

I'm done here.

Hey I was only trying to be funny. You must have missed it. You're wrong though anyway and I am perfect. I am not replying to this thread and will leave this to others to post into.

To whoever negative repped me and said im too cocky, good. I think Evertonians need to get cocky and I wish Evertonians were in a position to get cocky once again. Whatever, I do what I WANT!

That was me, lad(ette). You've got a PM as well, which explains where I'm coming from.
btw - I have no problem with you having a different opinion to me. Debate is good, I'm not always right and I'm happy to hold my hand up when I'm wrong,

I personally feel this is the David Moyes show.

Man Utd finishined 8th or Arsenal 9th or Chelsea 5th and their managers would be sacked.

I believe Everton, overall, were thought of as a bigger club when Walter Smith and predecessors were in charge. If they finished 14th and 16th their jobs were on the line.

If Moyes finishes 17th next season, or even takes us down, his job will be safe in the eyes of the media.

I am a fair person. I have my own opinions however.

And I would like to ask you, honestly, who is bigger - David Moyes or Everton?

Everton were a bigger club under Walter Smith.

Because in my opinion it's David Moyes, and he's in a very fantastic position. It's all about Moyes and how well he's done with little old Everton, who are lucky to finish 12th, 8th, 15th or wherever we finish. Even when we finish 4th, 5th, 7th or 8th, it's all about David Moyes. Not Everton.

I want this to change and want to post a poll about it. And be honest when you answer.

Sorry . Dude .

Ridiculous premise . Ginger would tell you himself .

You guys can have your opinion mate, and I can have mine without reason to get upset.

I truly believe that since Moyes took over he's willingly or not promoted himself at Everton's expense. I see it. He did it to Rooney he has done it to every single player that does well, young or not. He brings players in the limelight down and he promotes himself and the job he is doing. And the media love it. Everton get smaller. That's my opinion. We were a bigger club without the 4th with Walter Smith. That's my opinion and no-one will convince me I am wrong. Sorry.

I have nothing against him but I don't rate him considering what he's doing right now and has done. I appreciate you coming in will get people in against me but as I said, I can have my opinion, and you and the rest can have yours, we're all still Evertonians.

I believe Moyes coming in and everything since has been basically a job of promote Moyes up, Put Everton down. Whether Ginger says so or not.
