who do you want to 'raise there game'

I think next season will be make or break for Vaughan. I think the trouble is that when he comes back after injury he tries too hard to prove himself, pushes the boundaries, overstretches himself.

He needs a full pre-season to get into peak condition then we may see a decent player. He has the pace we are lacking, and adds another dimension up front.

Totally agree with this, its happened a few times this season when the ball could easilly be Timmys, but it has to be cleared away because he hasn't been quick enough to come off his line, which gives the opposing team another chance to attack us.

I think vaughn should hit the gym and strengthen his muscles. Two months of body building. He has skill but it's not going to do him much good without the fitness.
I would like to see the whole team lift their game right up to fourth spot in the PL.

Baines. His crosses are very good but he often can't beat anyone on the wing one-on-one. He might need 'roids to accomplish this though.

He's got pienaar in front of him though who should be taking men on (and does). I think they are the success story of the second half of the season

Completely disagree. I think they are more often than not off target. His free kicks from the left hand side are atrocious. Most of the time they sail past everyone and go over the bar.

Hibbert is to slow for the pacey attackers as Chelsea showed, but against teams without pacey attacking midfielders he's mint, so i can't really say much for Hibbo

Players who need to rase their game this season for me are

Vaughan - Due to Injuries
Osman - Most of this year his shooting boots havn't been as good as 07
Anichebe - The lad needs to stop diving all the time :@
Ruddy - Needs to push for a place on the bench or even starting lineup

Vaughan needs to have his breakthrough year. Love him to bits but I'm scared that if he doesn't deliver this season Moyes will lose patience. Plus he's missing out on too much of his development.

Osman needs to make sure he doesn't go missing for 5 games every couple of months.

Yobo maybe not up his game but I want to see him perfect his consistency.

Big year for Gosser aswell. See if he can take it to the next level and become a proper premier league player.

And jose baxter may be ready to make the step up!

Exciting times.

Vaughan needs to raise his game due to injuries? Explain.

last 3 seasons, he's been injured loads.

He can't help it, but he must be doing something, such as during games he comes on and trys WAY to hard,

or it could be something to do with the training? I mean such as Fernando Torres gets injured when he does spain's training! But I don't know to much about injuries to explain what i'm going on about

Completely agreed, as well as Rodwell he needs to get a step on the starting line up, hes an amazing player and is really cool on the ball

Yeah he's been injured, and it's disappointing, but not because of something he has done. It's just awful bad luck.

I agree though. We can't hang on to him for ever - unless he has a 'break through' season. Out of all our youngsters, he is the one id least like to see fail.

I atchually think everyone feels like that. At Goodison he's always getting the biggest chears even when there reading the first start up lineups before the match and hes on the bench.

Hopefully he'll have a injury free season and push infront of Victor to make sure Moyes picks him incase the Yak is hurt or we need a 2nd man (y)

We surely can't have as bad luck next season with out injuries!

Yakubu, Jagielka, Arteta, Jacobsen, Anichebe, Vaughan, Valente! All except Jags missing loads of the season.

That is a joke
