Martinez' Wigan have never been out of a relegation scrap, never. However, we do have better players than Wigan and Martinez can work under a budget so maybe he could do a job here. Saying that, im happy with Moyes.

Am pretty sure that Wigan finished 11th with Steve Bruce the season before Martinez took over.

11th to relagation battles in one season get him in is what I say Ffs.

Nigel Adkins is my vote. Only problem is he's a kopite.

Jesus wept. Really?!

Yer man he's a really good attacking manager. The only problem is that souhamptons defenders are really poor.
Also would mean we could get players like lallana, lambert or any other young Southampton prodigy(because they always have one or two knocking around) on the cheap.

He's good at working on bugger all budget as well. I think he's a very good manager and would do well here.

You have basically just described replacing moyes with moyes mkII.

I think it would probably be Martinez.
How Wigan have stayed in the premiership baffles me and this is all down to the manager.
He regularly loses his best players and doesn't have any finance worthwhile. If people think David Moyes manages well without money they should look at Martinez.
I think David Moyes has done well, but I feel that he may well choose to leave this summer.
I think he might welcome a fresh challenge somewhere else.

would absolutely love Martinez. turned down the rs which makes him even better

laudrup would be a good shout actually, not sure how much swansea will like a 4th consecutive season where the manager leaves them though. lambert was perfect for us i thought, but he's not doing too great at villa (gash team though and benteke was a hell of a find). Not sure martinez would be good enough for us, however, he does have a great eye for a player, some of the players he bought for swansea in league 1 are producing in the prem i.e. rangel. would like to see how he'd cope with a bigger team with better asperations, not too convinced he'd succeed like. Personally i think it should be someone abroad but i don't think bill has the know how to look outside the british isles. Bilic would be great but doubtful.

personally, moyes has taken us as far as he can, even if we get europa, i can't see him taking us too far because of his cautiousness and if coleman really was dropped for norwich that says it all. The fact he wasn't even on the bench suggests he was just injured - here's hoping anyway
