I wouldn't be surprised if Neville became player manager if Moyes left, either that or a young manager from the lower leagues that nobody will have any idea about unless they follow football in depth.
 
Andy Gray or Peter Reid, needs to be a true blue...

Peter Reid ticks a box from the perspective that he's a blue, he understands the club's ethos and he'd probably be able to get the players snarling before kickoff in the Derby, but his actual credentials as a a manager are not watertight - what's he up to these days? According to wiki he's managing a team in India, and I say that knowing that wiki is not much more reliable than twitter.

Laudrup's doing a decent job at Swansea and is a BIG football name - I imagine he commands respect from the players, and I think that's quite important.
 
I'd like Duncan to give team talks.

"I support Everton and if any of you don't put a decent shift in, I'd like to see you after the game."
