The utmost opponent of us is RS, absolutely.
But which team is our friend or alliance team?

Is it Preston North End, isn't it? or Fulham or Newcastle?

Thank you very much indeed for the answers. (y)

Preston, Bury, maybe sheffield United.

Man Utd to a certain extent with Moyes - but not with the fans.

And definatly not Newcaslte - were rivals

I leave all that to those soft shites across the park and their crawling up the rear end of Celtic. Oh, and Borussia Monchengladbach. (n)

As a match going United fan you would be suprised how many United fans have a soft spot for Everton. Our mutual dislike of your lovely neighbours is one reason. I live in Preston which has a strong Everton following with a lot of fans following both teams. My brother in law is a season ticket holder at North end but also an Everton Fan I remember him going to watch you againt Kendal last year in a friendly

I still play in a indoor league in the winter. Most of the players are Utd expats & local fans with a small smattering of Celtic, Arse and the usual suspects. Most of my mates want us Toffees to come good especially with them keeping tabs on Howard(wow! has he come out of his shell lately making comments on everything) & Neville. I was actually trying to emulate a Neville type pass one time as a joke and got a good smile from the lads but he has done fine by me lately. But they really hate the red lot more than their so called rivals City. So I always feel like I'm in good company with them. Even though i'm the only Evertonian in the league.

Hello to everybody, it's my first post in this forum, firs of all i want to apologize because of my bad english.

I found this post as good choice to make my presentation in this forum.

I'm an Athletic club of Bilbao fan, and since i was a child a i'm an everton fan too. Since Howard Kendall was our trainer here in Bilbao, many people in Bilbao became an Everton fan. Howard was a very popilar person in Bilbao and loved this city.
There are many coincidences between Athletic an d Everton, both teams are the temas with the most number of years in the first divison (Athletic ofo Bilbao have never been released), and both teams had very good years in the 80's. I think in Bilbao there is a generation who admire Everton.

To most fans you will find that they have a soft spot fora club hat A -we beat on a regular basis B-a side that offers no challenge to our position .Years ago most teams fans liked West Ham simply because although played decent football they seldom beat any of the teams with ambitions .I used to like Stoke years ago when Waddington was manager and they had a team of aging stars more so when Roy Vernon was there .o the last few years until Moyes we where becoming one of the favoured clubs if you read opponents web sites happily Dave has ended that now if I had to pick a club now it would be Preston or the other team I try to see Marine.(y)

Aupa Athletic! The team I follow in Spain. For the Kendall connection. My best friend here in Alicante is forofo de Athletic. He's from Santurzi.
If you want any help translating, Just ask. It may be a few hours after your post but I will do it.
I have fond memories of the Athletic team 93-94 when I arrived in Spain
Andrinua, Larrazabal, Urrutia, Garitano, Julen (Hoberena), with Valverde and 'Cuco' Ziganda as Strikers.(y) Bat, bi, iru, lau aupa Bilbao!
