Fellaini gets done by runners all the time, and he is a slow ****ing lump who couldn't catch a cold! His inability to track runners and read the game properly is what makes him defensively suspect.
I'm sorry mate, but I have been the one who has repeatedly been stating that Fellaini is a good second striker, but not as good as McCarthy in central midfield. The reason I say that is because I recognise that they are different positions that require different types of skills and ability.
Which is why I made the point about McCarthy possessing more of the required fundamental skills and abilities that are required to be a proficient central midfielder (especially in our current footballing system) in comparison to Fellaini who is more suited to playing as a second striker in a hoofballing system. It was you who said Fellaini had more ability than McCarthy, not me. I maintain that McCarthy has more ability as a central midfielder than Fellaini.
My comment about the 100% non-disputable stats which document how many ineffective passes someone has made was not directed at you. It was directed at anyone who thinks looking at a load of Championship Manager stats gives a better indication of a player's ability than watching the player yourself.
