They’ll pull Colina out of retirement aged 74We must be the first club to bottle Conference qualification fs
The same was said of PalaceI guess it will make it easier for survival next season...cant see a team like brentford or Bournemouth being able to manage having to play so many games.
palace and forest did ok with small squads, would of been a better stepping stone than going straight into champions leagueIt has been apparent from an early stage this season that talk of Europe was a pipe dream. The squad has neither the quality nor depth to sustain a challenge for a European place finish, or to secure a decent run in even the minor European competitions. The defence is the primary issue, with three of the back four far from the necessary standard. We also lack real tenacity in midfield, build up is ponderous and predictable, and we lack clinical quality in the striking options. As the season reached a critical point, performance issues badly affected the midfielders who may have added to the goals tally, Ndiaye in particular. There is much work to be done to bolster our European credentials, and it won’t be achieved in a single season from this August either. We’re not a poor team, but we are palpably not a European team either.
