It's not odd. He obviously wants to be a professional footballer again, so we've given him a park to kick a ball about. Great for his mental health. Whether it becomes something for either parties is very unlikely, but im glad there's an opportunity to further his wellbeing at no cost.

He’s back on the grass, just not fit fit, what I call premier league fit.
But he’s doing the hard yards and the dirty work in training.
