One thing I've had to relearn now I've started going the game again is that this forum isn't exactly representative of how Evertonians feel. In fact anything like from what I ascertain in and around the ground.

You say many, I'd suggest few who post a lot as appose many.

Most blues i know personally just want him to shut his gob mate, concentrate on training the players and improving the performances which after all is what he said is his sole focus quite soon after joining us, remember him saying about transfers etc he doesn't get involved in, it seems the exception is when talking up the one genuine top quality player in there position we have leaving the club for something better

Him talking to the media is nothing new mate. Martinez was a guest analyst for numerous tv companies and his post match comments were as embarrassing thing as we've ever had to hear.

This isn't just Everton either, many managers from many clubs like the sound of their own voice. I'm sure he will be coaching them to play better, whether it will pay off we will only know after he's been here for a few months yet.

His job was not an easy one. The clubs was at the lowest point UTD been in over a decade when he took over 990 minutes of football is nowhere near enough to make a fair assessment.

Had it been great? No. not at all.

Aye mate agree with a lot of that, but straight off the back of one of the worst performances i can recall (and theres been a lot to choose from over the past 20 years) it wasn't the right time for him to be 1. talking about losing one of the most important (if not most) players, 2. to be effectively portraying us as a club at best of a middling and at worst small stature and ambition, and 3. to come right off the back of Moshiri's interview which instilled positivity in many it has undermined hugely the message the owenr was trying to get across - hence Moshiri coming out immediately to try portray it as a mis translation etc, which it wasn't

I agree entirely. Even if we'd of beaten Chelsea 5-0 no Evertonian wants to hear it. It was an incredibly stupid thing to say.

Just out of interest if those who have decided Koeman should not be our manager (
and there seem to be many now,) got their wish ,who would you bring in at this stage of the season? I don't mean to be antagonistic I'm genuinely intrigued. At the moment I can't think of anyone currently available that I would be remotely comfortable with.

Leonardo Jardim
Julian Nagelsmann
David Unsworth
Eddie Howe

I'd also look at Thierry Henry coming onboard.

Aye, trying to envision someone like Kendall or Royle ever saying that and not a chance on earth, similarly can't imagine someone like Klopp saying that either.

Beggining to see why he maybe was hated a lot by the Velencia fans and local media now (not mentioning the players who basically revolted on him Mourinho at Chelsea style)

If Koeman believes in his own ability then why not just tell Lukaku to sign a new contract and in 2 years when hes Barca manager he will make him his 1st signing?

Worse than Mourinho mate, three players filed court cases + no one including the fans celebrated their cup win (which after he was sacked the players apparently said they were playing their own way in the cup).

I am very angry at Ronald Koeman's recent comments regarding Everton and Lukaku. I want to start a Donald Trump-esque movement.

"I think he can emulate Patrick Kluivert, who also rose to prominence at a young age and enjoyed a fantastic career. He eventually played for Barcelona and I can see Lukaku doing the same. Everton should normally not be the end for him. Romelu will not have made the most of his career if he plays for Everton for the remainder of his career. He has the potential to play for a bigger club than Everton, but nobody knows what will happen after this season."
This is the third time I've seen Koeman's controversial comment regarding Lakuku and they're all different.

I'd like to know what it was that he said. Exactly what he said.

Not really heard of the first two but I'll check them out. Unsworth done well for the U23s , but no experience at first team management let alone PL would make him a disappointing appointment.
Eddie Howe ,Running back home to Bournmouth ,makes me question his tenacity. Personally don't rate him either, but he's done well for his club.
Henry, not anywhere near experienced enough plus he's French. Doubt he'd come anyway.
For what it's worth ,by the way ,I wanted Favre originally.

To be honest @Dutch Toffee read it as it was originally reported and he thought it had been fairly translated, doing Koeman no favours at all.

My autocorrect nearly tagged in @Darkhorse there; not sure I want to see his feelings on Lukaku at this hour to be honest
