i played at a few smaller grounds like, Gig Lane, Deva, Gresty Road and pro pitches are pretty big compared to amateur ones.

I played way back when Football Aid first started, never seen so many overweight blokes with tears in there eyes walking out to Z-cars!

Its an amazing day, John Bailey was our Manager and we won 5-2. As soon as the ball is kicked off it was like under 8 football and everybody chased the ball and pushed forward as they wanted to score!

Enjoy the day Graeme it will live long in your memory.

I've done Football Aid twice mate and its awesome.
I'm 40 and was a run of the mill Sunday morning footballer at the peak of my fitness! I fitted in fine, there were probably 10 or so blokes older than me and plenty worse at football!

I loved every minute of it, the times I did it Derek Mountfield and Stuart Barlow were our captains, both were great. One of the opposition strikers missed an absolute sitter, Barlow ran over to him, gave him his shirt and then started shouting "eh Barlow your f**kin ****" then said I bet you've shouted that at me a few times !!

I played on Goodison two years ago and it was incredible. The most important thing is to just forget about where you are and concentrate on the game until it's over, or else you'll end up playing ****e and regretting it. I spent the first couple of minutes thinking about how every kick of the ball reverberates around the stands.

I'm still a bit gutted I didn't score, but I did get an assist and win a penalty. There were accusations of diving but there was absolutely contact.

We should get say 30 of us to make 2 teams, then offer Bill £1000 to donate to charity to let us have a GOT game in the summer!

That would cost us the same as a match ticket and it would be awesome!

One steward needed, a first aider and lots of pies.

Told everyone I have met today, they don't get it down here what it's like being an Evertonian we are all truly blessed to be Evertonians, I noticed this is a week before the cup final so if I play well there is a chance I could get a place in the squad for Wembley! Haha!

I've always said whilst being on here we should make a GrandOldTeam footy team even if its just in a sunday league or whatever.

Newcastle are now offering fans the chance to hire the pitch £1500 for one game, I will email Bobby Elstone and see what the chances are of a GOT match at the end of the season
