You accused me of being a nazi for stating asylum seeking men are more problematic than women and children.

Therefore I asked if that was the case would you let a bunch of male asylum seekers kip at your place with your family in the house.

I personally wouldn't but I would happily let an asylum seeking mother and her young kids do so as statistcally they're less likely to commit act of criminality (same with white Brit women).

If you followed the thread you would understand my point was more about gender than race/ethnicity but you were desperate to try point score and blew your load prematurely my friend.

Well there is a difference.

1. Many asylum seekers come from war torn countries and will often suffer from a number of mental health problems from conflict such as PTSD which can manifest in violent outbursts. Many men also will have taken part in conflict through little fault of there own and have knowledge/experience of use of weaponary and combat.

2. Many of these countries have religious fundamentalist societies where women and gays are treated like second class citizens which is completely at odds to Western society.

So whilst I still wouldn't let some random Welsh bloke stop at mine its naive to state its exactly the same scenario as a bloke with little to no background from somewhere like Syria or Libya.

This is true of our armed forces Heroes - you saying we shouldn't have them back?

There's a lot of very lazy stereotypes just thrown out there FB, plus I'd have PTSD from living in Wales (that was just a joke I'm not a xenophobe).

I'll agree to disagree mate - as I said earlier I have a lot of sympathy for asylum seekers and count my blessings that I've grew up in a country that has avoided conflict on its own soil.

However we have to be realistic in that all it takes is a small number of asylum seekers to commit a murder/rape/terror attack etc and the native population grow distrustful of all asylum seekers as a result.

If you wanted a sensible stat led policy to limit that then women and children are the safest to take in followed by men in families.

Thats not to say all lone single men are criminals but stats would say it would be that demographic which would present problems if there are to be any.

Germany for example (which is a largely left/liberal nation compared to the UK) had huge backlash against their Government after incidents of crime commited by a small number of refugees when they opened the doors to large numbers a few years back.

I work with a couple of Afghani lads who were airlifted out of Kabul. Their stories are horrific. But @ForeverBlue92 says they shouldn’t be allowed anywhere cos of their testosterone levels.
Probably the most respectful and least threatening people I’ve ever met tbh.

Im not advocating the behaviour of the riot - for me its complete mindless idiots acting up same as what we saw during the BLM protests in the pandemic.

I have no dog in the fight I simply comment on the tediousness of the left/right tug of war over who is right when often the truth is always somewhere in the middle but there is too much ideological clout from both sides to concede any ground.
