Well I guess I've caught the misinterpretation disease from the poor attempts at discourse I see here. Nobody has literally said I or others are racist, but it's HEAVILY implied.. come on man, don't play games, word games are for people who don't believe their arguments stand alone.
Hello mate. I think the problem is that there's a bit of a rush to jump on the outsiders en masse in some quarters.

Sure, if a pair of the scrotes have been hassling underage girls for sex they need to be dealt with - lawfully. And lawfully means handing the vids to the police. Not posting them on social media and whipping up a load of emotions. But I'd want that regardless of race or background.

The vigilante stuff is problematic in and of itself. Plenty of cases of folk going too far with people based on rumour, hearsay and so forth. Doesn't matter who it is.

So violence aimed at 200 people based off one individual? Who from the video we don’t even know if he is an asylum seeker or is living at that hotel?

Do we know the police aren’t protecting us? Had they seen the video and investigated?

It’s wrong and he needs dealt with, most likely deported back to his home country (if he is an asylum seeker), but advocating violence which has targeted 200 other individuals and has seen a police van burnt out, is pretty extreme.
I've literally said in this thread that I'm not with the protesters in any way.. you people read only what you want. I never said anything about general violence, in fact I said IN THE POST THAT YOU'RE REPLYING TO that I don't want gangs of scallys running around snotting everyone. I said the cnt we saw in that video is a good reason for violence, do you feel no anger, and why?
We all know the police don't protect us, don't be silly.
Once again, I did NOT advocating 200 people should be targeted. Please try to seperate fantasy from reality, and stop with the asumptions.

Police do not have a sufficient record on these issues to be trusted though, I don't like vigilantism in of itself but we're at a point of it being the only way of actually dealing with the nonces. Will there be cases of things going badly wrong? Yes. But that's on the police for refusing to do their jobs.
The question is would you set fire to a police van and intimidate people in a hotel because one person in that hotel was a pervert?
Well, it seems to have been succesful in getting people to actually talk about the issue rather than just hush hushing the conversation for being raaayccisss naaahhhtzeeee white supreeeeeeeeemisssssss

Ah, now you are annoyed at someone making assumptions. How the turn tables.

We’ve talking about implied meanings of things. You wrote that what you saw in the video was a good reason for violence, and it came across to me reading it, as an acceptance about what happened. You didn’t specify violence towards him directly, but that it was enough of a reason for violence, even if you don’t want to see it yourself.

And yes, I’m angry by it, but I don’t condone violence and we have a legal system and police force to deal with it. As someone who works with children who have been abused, I’m angry every day it happens regardless of what gender, race of whatever else the person is who commits it and they should be dealt with to the full extent of the law.

Has it? What has furthered the conversation - what is the topic that we're debating because we've got pseudo science about biological violent tendencies, nonsense about deserving refugees vs non deserving refugees, discussion about strain on UK systems, chatter about socialist Liverpool vs scally far right Knowsley, all rolled up in an incident where seemingly one person (are they a refugee??) has apparently approached an underage school girl inappropriately - which has resulted in an entire group of people in a hotel being intimated and a police van set on fire.

Completely agree. Please note that I've never said any different, just people making huge leaps of logic about people who look at a problem differently, based on THEIR hatred of anybody who doesn't goose step precisely into their way of thinking.
But as to the video, yes that does make me feel violent! doesn't mean I want gangs of tits going around making up rules as they go.

You know why people turn to those insane pseudo-sciences right? Because the grifters selling those ideas are the only people whose response isn't "shut up you absolute nazi" when they express concerns for victims of child molesters.

Yes, that's fair, I wasn't specific.
No, no we don't.. and at this point I feel the need to ask you, are you joking mate, really, a police force and a legal system that 'deal with it' no mate, no we don't!
