What if Liverpool won the title?

We have absolutely no chance of winning this league. None whatsoever.

The two major differences between Martinez and Rodgers is that the sharkfaced no mark gobshite would never be able to operate to any degree on a negative net budget and he'd never be forced to sell developing talent.

Martinez has both hands and both feet tied in terms of putting a title winning squad together.

I've said it for years: we'll win nothing while Kenwright and his fellow gangsters haunt this football club. Nothing.
rodgers did have an exceptional 1st season with swansea spending [Poor language removed] all in fairness

as much as hes a cringy barsteward i do have to admit all the evidence is showin hes a decent manager

He's been sacked by Reading; took over what another man created at Swansea; and threw his filosofee about patient build up out the window to keep his job by caving in to Gerrard and his preferred method of getting it back to front ASAP.

I'd give this fraud precisely zero credit, tbh.

Disagree mate

Look at the teams that have won the Premier League since its formation in 92

Utd
Chelsea
Blackburn
City
Arsenal

They all have one thing in common, They have spent a fortune on players, Whether that be short term or long term

The top 4 is dominated by the teams with the most money, Just a fact

You are sadly spot on. Money = success.

but What If.

I will always remain optimistic, hopeful that we will be the team to buck this horrid trend in our 'sport'. We have the nucleus of a very good side.

The old theory - put enough monkeys in front of type-writers and eventually you will get the works of Shakespeare - Obviously works in football too although it seems vast amounts of money are required as well.

Coming out onto the centre circle and high fiving his players and the stadium as if they had won the title already was cringe worthy if you ask me at the end. If I was a rival manager I would be keen to put that bellend in his place. I remember when he was getting interviewed on goals on Sunday when he was Swansea manager and they were lauding his so called philosophy and he was lapping it up. Following week we gave him a football lesson and I think they only won about 3 more games the rest of the season. If they win the title, fair play they will have earned it but he's a complete tool. I'm still buzzing off his "we are a humble club" quote a few weeks ago.

In fairness, you cannot deny the job he has done in such a short space of time. Look at the squad he took over, a lot of it was absolutely horrific. They haven't fluked going from 7th to 1st.

The only summer signing that is a first team player is the goalie I think. That must be through pure coaching alone...The likes of Flannagan, Henderson and even Suarez himself have improved massively since the Daglish disaster.

Couldn't give a white if they won it. Did us a huge faviur today. The [Poor language removed] winning the league has no impact on Everton as a club. Everton being in Europe coUld set us up for years!!!

Hope big Sam [Poor language removed] them next week mind

Spot on

Henderson for example was a running joke but now looks like a very decent player

Rodgers is doing a very good job at Liverpool no question at all, The only thing I would worry about if I was a LIverpool fan is his transfer record, Did I hear right that Courtino and Sturridge were not his picks

Sorry, take Suarez out of that side and this chump and his side would be out of the europa league places. It amazes me that people can't see that.

Never has a team relied so heavily on one player.
