What if Liverpool won the title?

That is sad, cant believe City and Chelsea blew it today.

Chelsea acted like no class bastards. Resting Oscar like Palace in the league was just about turning up for the three points. I bet you Eto'o is fit again for the 'glamour' CL match too.

It won't be too bad at first. I don't buy a paper or go on their websites. I'm not on facebook anymore and don't follow any of their fans on Twitter so it won't bother me. Until I start watching football again. It'll be 'Super Danny' to the nation when England are playing and Clive Tildsley ups his cringe factor even more. Then there'll be 'How the league was won' on Sky with the advert showing that corrupt DJ beater kissing the camera. Any future argument with any of them around football will end with them claiming they won the league spending coppers compared to everyone else in the league. Every derby match for the next 10 years their fans will be singing about the greatest triumph. The joys.

Ive excepted it in my head tbh

Its just all going right for them plus there playing some great football and scoring bags full

If they do win the title, you will NEVER be able to escape hearing about it. Never mind every derby, every day will be intolerable

Cancel Sky
Don't read the paper
Don't listen to Talk Sport
Don't go on social media

Easy

Apart from the fact that we'd never hear the end of it, I don't care what they do.

Obviously I don't actually wish them success but all this 'would you take 5th if they didn't come top' is total nonsense.

Anyone who wants Liverpool to fail more than they want Everton's progression is as delusional as any Kopite.

That'd be fair enough if the possibility of us progressing and operating on the same level as Liverpool and the others in the title race. There isn't, though, and it's delusional to think we can.

Ergo: it's justified wanting your fiercest local rivals to not win anything.

Not at the expense of your own team Dave. Never.

It's all about their 2 home games against Chelsea and City

...yes, it's in their hands on their own pitch.

They are now clear favourites for me. City look like they'll press them to the line, but I honestly cant see these dropping more than a coupe of more points.

Obviously things can change quickly in footy, but right now they are looking destined to be champions.

Bookies make City odds on - you can still get over 2/1 for Liverpool.

Kin ell that's just giving cash away. Lump on.

I get that people are scared at the thought of our delusional neighbours winning something and tediously hanging it over our heads at any opportunity, but the obsessing is embarrassing. I bet they're absolutely buzzing off it.
