What are your expectations for next season?

I'm expecting the hot dogs to be chopped into little pieces and mixed with chorizo, sun dried tomatoes and olives. The sun will also shine more as we all shout 'Olay' after yet another 30 pass move ends with Wayneo Rooneyo slotting past Reina for number ocho.

We will finish at 11th next season.

By the time the Moyes's players have left or retire, I can't imagine where will we finish. I have absolutely no faith in Martinez. I hope he will prove me wrong.

I don't have any expectations regarding league position, but I do have expectations as to our approach to each game and that we should be playing a more attacking brand of football - going for the win.

I also expect 3-4 players leaving (not counting Neville, Mucha and Hitzelsberger), and 5-6 players arriving to bolster our numbers. 1-2 of them will come from Wigan, with the most obvious targets being McCarthy, McManaman, Maloney and Kone.

Most importantly we need to give the manager time to implement his ideas and not view the league position as the only way of judging progress.

We'll finish 10th and won't win a cup. Might do okay in the League Cup if we treat it seriously, but we won't win it

Realistically, I think this is about right, and the Reds will be above us!

Martinez (should he get the top job), or whoever else comes in, will need time to settle in and get the squad organised the way he wants it, so not expecting too much for the next couple of seasons. No need for knee-jerk reactions though, think back to Moyes' second season...
