Weekend in the City was forgettable for me, but i was one of the few people i know who actually rated Intimacy in terms of them jumping into something massively different with both feet. A few of the songs on that album were definitely above average.

I have to rate Weekend In The City because "Waiting For The 7:18" is maybe my favorite BP song. I can listen to it throughout, which makes it miles above most albums from other bands tbh.

Intimacy is great. It's just not quite as great as SA. But then few albums are.

Good stuff for the Music Clique. French Films is a five-piece indie rock band from Finland. Their music is often described as a mixture of sunny surf rock and new wave. I tell ya the Scandanavians bands are pretty ace at the moment.

If you don't watch the video, its a delightful slice of post punk (think Joy Division/Echo) but with wild female vocals in Icelandic. Great song and album.
