Erm, yeah. It's like bluesy, garagey rock stuff. I don't see why not.

Their first album is ace and from what I've heard of this, they're going from strength to strength. :)

I'm not that into Dubstep but it seems -- after speaking to people who have been into the genre for a while -- that this fella and DeadMouse ([Poor language removed] your stupid numeric spelling buddy) are entry level stuff, and not really all that. I've tried making my own mind up but I find both to be rather gash, but as someone who's not that into dubstep I'm not the best to judge.

I really have no idea. I've youtubed about 5 tracks this morning, not bad, not awesome, it's all a bit Daft Punk, which is no bad thing may I add.

I like Daft Punk and I like electronic stuff, I just think Dubstep's a bit... boring. And repetitive.

The few people I know who love Skrillex and DadMice are the same who genuinely know nothing at all about music. That's not a snobby jibe either, I mean they're really people who know [Poor language removed] all about music.

He is terrible. Skrillex represents everything wrong with what "Dubstep" has become, It's so far removed from the stuff I listen to/used to listen to, the only thing current "Dubstep" has in common with the original stuff is the BPM. Deadmau5 was never, ever Dustep, more House/Progressive Trance really, but that just shows how sh1te he's become now if he's perceived that way, he used to be ace though, like in 2006.

I listen to a lot of music that could be classed as Dubstep, Dnb, Minimal, etc.... (I'm not very good with all this Sub-Genre lark). I mainly listen to stuff that's easy to listen to, music you can chill to rather than the stuff you can dance to, I'm not a big dancer! My favourite producers are Synkro, Burial and Phaeleh.

I'm going to use this as an excuse to post copious amounts of Dub/Dnb in the music thread, see if you like it. Blue 1 (I think) has got very good taste in Dubstep too.
 
Well I didn't think it was Dubstep. I've listened to the stuff you've posted and that's what I've taken in as Dubstep, not this dancey stuff.

Deadmau5 - Strobe. I quite like that one, but that's about as far as my knowledge goes.

Daft Punk live is one of the greatest gigs ever.

One of his few good recent song, I was about to post that, it's ace. I'm going to do a big Deadmau5 post here, his best stuff from a while back. Might take me some time to filter through some crap though!
 
Well everyone calls them dubstep and they both have dubstep listed under the "genre" section on their wikipedia pages, so that's why I said they were dubstep. Damon would be proud.

But yeah, I'll take your word for it BLF. As I said everyone I know who classes themselves as a dubstep fan, is not a Skrillex or DeafMousse fan.
