What are you currently listening to?

You're not far wrong mate, it's certainly up there. I'm racking my brain trying to think of an all round better album but I can't. Something like Arcade Fire's Funeral is somewhere up there too, In my opinion.

I didn't know it was rated so highly by J-Dawg, like. But there you go.

Funeral for me, like. If we're talking last 10 years that is. If you mean like any album from the noughties then Relationship of Command would push it close.

This. Whilst it's long, drawn out and a bit samey in places. I like it.

1.) MILLLLKKKKSSS!!!!!!!!

2.) Completely agree. It has weaker points naturally as it's a 2 disc, big album, but on the whole it's brilliant. Bar the horrible song with the french name and the little girl speaking. Midnight City makes up for that though. Song of the year material that is.

I think Silent Alarm shades Funeral. But yeah any discussion has to include those two

I'd say Silent Alarm too. Literally every song is brilliant. Funeral is stonker though, talk about a good intro.

Just give it a little time RFUS and I'm sure you will hold it in similar regard.

It's a tough one, Cedar room is a massive favourite of mine, but an album with Words, There Goes the Fear, Caught by the River and Pounding on it? It's tough to beat that ;)

Hmmm it is a toughie. Caught by the river is for me one of their very best. But Firesuite, Here It Comes, Break Me Gently, Catch The Sun and The Man Who Told Everything are awesomeness at their awesomest.

Midnight City has made my songs of the year list for sure. All well with you post hiatus? Good to see you back.

MILKS - I really like that album

Good, glad you liked it. Agree with you about Doves too. Pounding is the winner.

All very true. The Last Broadcast was my soundtrack of the summer 2002. A 4 hour drive to Newquay couldn't sound any better. I reckon that album was played 50 times that week on repeat.

Silent Alarm is Bloc Party's best, but I can't say which is my favourite of theirs, it changes from time to time. Like the Strokes, Is this it, is their finest hour, but we all know Room on Fire is the true great

I'm good lid. You should post more though. You're like the second acest poster on here.

Fo' sure. I think their new album is ace as well though. It took AGES for it to grow on me to that extent, but it did.

I can't put this in (or listen to it) without the three songs afterwords...just doesn't seem right. Any Colour You Like must be played loud enough to wake the Gods...just do it.
