What are you currently listening to?

Megadeths new album, a good final album from them, about as good as you can expect from Thrash Metal legends who are in Thier mid 60s

It's far from Thier greatest work, but it's still good on the whole, & maybe Thier most diverse album they have ever created

Songs that sound like they are from each era are Included, & and a suspect cover of Ride The Lightning.

The last Note is a fitting end though, fantastic song that will hit any Megadeth in the feels

7/10

Not heard these in years. I used to go out with a Dutch girl who was really into these, saw them in Amsterdam.
I listen to Arrow Rock Radio based in Rotterdam via Onlineradiobox.com, they play a big range of musical genres and give exposure to mainland European acts and also British/Irish bands who somehow never quite got enough attention over here but became popular on the continent.

I'm very impressed with the quality of Dutch bands over the last number of decades in particular

Here is one of those groups, kind of remind of The War on Drugs

John Watts the main man in this band, mostly recognised successful wise within the continent

I got into these doing a bit of virtual crate digging on Discogs - namely going through the cheaper end of a store's inventory and listening to clips of whatever looked interesting.

Came across John Watts' first solo album and liked the clips I heard so got it for about £3. From there I learned about Fischer-Z and ended up buying their first 3 albums. Don't think they cost me more than a tenner for the lot.

Very decent band...or at least the first iteration of it was. Dunno what their reformed / changed later stuff is like.

On Friday night, with drinks and philosophy included a discussion took place between a few eejits and I about 80's bands and songs and some notion of leaving a capsule for future finding research that didn't include Michael Jackson. or Prince, Or Madonna or tripe and 50 songs that would make it and a criteria was also that it wasn't a number 1.
This song made the list of however many before the thrust was forgotten.
Basically ace songs
