Yes, but like my original post said, if we hit the kind of form we had first half of this season we would get many points against them. I totally agree its a long shot, but its not impossible. I like to clinge on a little bit of hope yet, even if I dont really believe we will get it. We beat United, Tottenham and drew with City last time we played them.

I think most people are agreed that 4th is gone now. Spurs are massive favourites as they have Bale to win games for them. There isn't much point in getting optimistic about it again only for our hopes to be dashed. All the eggs are in the FA Cup basket now, but the 5th placed trophy would be nice as well like.

I think it's important to manage expectation.

We finished 7th last season and got to a Cup Semi. I think finishing 6th or 5th and hopefully getting into Europe either that way or via the Cup will be positive progress.

A lot of the depression on here at the mo is because of the Champions League and us being 'in the running' for a few months, imo. As electricblue said, no point looking to something that isn't achievable.

Doesn't matter how well we do, we're not going to win three more games than Spurs with 10 to go.

The Champions League was just a pipedream, given our financial situation and squad size 6th/5th place and a good cup run is pretty much the most we can hope for.

What about that team below Tottenham having serious off field issues? I agree though.
