Anyone know where the best pub/pubs are by their new free stadium. COYB let's batter this little club from East London.

Sadly there is sod all mate.

There's a singular pub called The Cow, between the shopping centre and the stadium, but that will be rammed and full of their lot. Otherwise you could go to some of the rough ones which are south of the tube station.

I'd recommend going past the stadium to near the copper box, warehouse thing called Here East which has a decent craft beer place and isn't too far.

I don't log on here (or forums in general) often, but I figured we are playing you guys and I have a soft spot for Everton so why not (although I can see by the comments on here that those feelings aren't reciprocated! :D).

Where do I start? This season has been what most West Ham fans are used to, and most of us expected. Yes, you have the twitter following and the forum types who thought we would be challenging for Champions League this season, but any long-serving WHU fan would have been able to tell you otherwise. The new stadium takes some getting used to, the owners tend to sell false promises, and the whole Payet situation hasn't helped matters either. I have to say I think Bilic has done a decent job considering all of these factors.

You lot have had a decent season, and it seems are on the cusp of something great. The new takeover, the new manager, new signings, and keeping your star players has helped you cement yourselves in the top 8, and challenging for Europe! Can't say I'm not a little envious (especially the takeover bit, unfortunately our owners are too greedy to sell up and have turned down some more than fair offers); I think we are a few years away from being taken over by some rich consortium, provided we stay up!).

On to the match. I don't think you'll find a single Hammers fan who is looking forward to this one. With Baines, Mirallas, and Lukaku you have 3 players who tend to have worldies against West Ham. If Baines gets a free kick in range he will score, Mirallas will ghost past our players, and even if Lukaku lost both his arms and legs in a terrible accident he would still be able to leap like a salmon to head in at the back post!

With the injuries we have, the respective form of both teams, and the way we play in the stadium, I can only see one result. 3-1 win for the Blues, and a sad weekend for me! Good luck to both teams, and apologies for the long post!

Welcome mate. I'll be honest. I used to have a soft spot for your lot and to be fair, it's probably the twitter following you mention which can put anyone off any team (Some of the stuff I see would put me off Everton if I hadn't signed up for life).
Stick around if you're up for it. Sure you'll see some not too friendly comments at times but we appreciate genuine fans of other teams.

Boiled beef and Jellied eels. World cup winners West'am welcome Everton to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and their spanking new (free) London Stadium. Their plan for world domination hasn't quite gone as they'd hoped, has it?

A fair few on here were fuming last season because we missed out on Dimitri Payet and to be fair he was lighting up the premier league last season. He wasn't doing to much this year however and finally ran off back to Marseilles. The fact that they replaced him with Robert Snodgrass will probably have added to the feeling of frustration amongst them 'appy 'ammers. sitting in 13th a whole 20 points behind the mighty blues. vast empty spaces in their shiny new stadium. Sniff it.

Moving to a 60,000 capacity stadium was probably a bit of a step up for a team like West Ham. As big as they like to think they are, they have a lot of heavy hitting competition who are higher up the food chain. As I said they can sniff it.

These guys are fresh from a draw with Sunderland. Darren Randolph looked rather dodgy in that game so we'll hope he continues in that vein. James Collins and Mark Noble seem to have been around for years without being especially good or especially bad. There are worse full backs in the prem than Byram and Cresswell so we'll have to watch them. Any kind of decent service and everyone's favourite grock number 9, Andy Caroll will punish us. Ayew's pace is a worry with our defence while Lanzini and Snodgrass can cause problems. With all that said, Would we want any of their players?
Didn't think so.

The premier league's top scorer and professional lazy bugger, Romelu Lukaku, will be hoping to add to his total against what seems to be his favourite opposition. we could do with him being up for this as our away form is a bit of a stark contrast to what we've been seeing at Goodison this year.
Ross Barkley recovered from a nasty week with a MOTM peformance against Burnley and I seem to remember him having his best pre Christmas game v the hammers. Keep it up Ross. Mirallas should complete the front 3.

The energy of Davies and Gana together with the composure of Schneiderlin should be too much for Noble and company. Despite some criticism I imagine Joel will continue in goal with Holgate, Baines, Williams and Gerd Jagielka.

Now these are pretty crap but we've dropped a fair few points to crap teams already this season.
Have to sort that out blues.

Safe trip to everyone travelling down and hopefully a happy journey back.

COYB!!

Well in Jamo.
Your best preview so far mate.

This has a score draw written all over it, 1-1 and a fair amount of childish fume on the internet from spoilt millenials who think we should beat anyone not in a Champions League spot week in, week out.

Trust me, sometimes I begin to hate West Ham fans if I spend too much time on twitter. It's all about "Triggering" other fans, rather than contributing decent opinions....most Everton and West Ham fans I meet in person are decent, hard working people. As mentioned, I have a soft spot for Everton, but definitely wouldn't mind Lukaku leaving (preferably abroad, can't stand the bloke for obvious reasons!)

Only chance Rom not scoring is Kim Jong whatever dropping a fat boy on London

0-2 Rom and Rom

Plus The Arse to get beat 3-1,

Get on it, it will pay for the train down.

Turn these over in their faux stadium and secure Europa League football while we're at it would be very nice.

like Koeman's comments, he said we need to start attacking from the off away from home and be positive going forward and talked about how we need to improve our away form

hope this comes to fruition against west ham, a team who have a few key players out and are in a bit of turmoil at the moment
