Answer is that we simply don't know.

But I appreciate lampard trying different approaches to get the best out of any player.
You're right - we don't know. We are speculating. He may very well be trying something different - we'll just have to wait and see if it works - or he's simply rolling the dice because, well, he's lost as to what else there is to do at this point. In Frank we trust vaguely hope he's a bit of a genius.

Let’s go all out for the win. Be hard but have have to get another 3 points to make the gap bigger and move away from the bottom. COYB.
It loooks like Frank is going for all three points today with four lads up front who can be classed as attackers (I am really not sure what Iwobi is) but that means our team will be pivoting from attack to defence and vice versa ona fulcrum of 2. which we all know is a hard sell given recent experience.
No Onyango? is he injured too? Can we recall Warrington back from Tranny?

Keane you might be the worst defender in the league and one of the reasons for us being in this relegation fight. Want to be capatin lad? Only Everton this

Keane as captain either brings a great performance out of him, or it does the opposite and compounds his confidence issues…

We’ve all got to hope it’s the former.

Big call from Lampard. I wonder if he worried in hindsight about how Keane would feel about his bollocks comments and this is his way of saying he still has faith in him?

There's a distinct sniff of defeatism flowing through these pages. :coffee:
I'm turning GOT off and heading down the pub :cheers:COYB
Hammers 0 Everton 2 I'll be back later to gloat:bye:

You better get showing Keane how to play football and find confidence. Be quick the game starts soon. Hope you're right but he's utter crap

Could be, at least he had the courage to drop Holgate, would imagine it was out the two and Keane won because of his heading power, Holgate has the worst heading stats out of all the defenders.

That's the growing pains we accepted would be when we hired Frank. He needs to make them mistakes on his way to be a top manager. He will learn from picking Keane as captain. He needs to make these mistakes. Its a good thing. And there's nothing to play for so Frank can learn his craft.
