The performance is on Moyes but in his defence it is difficult to be effective with this embarrassing standard of performance at centre forward

5 or 6 times this season we've had a chance to kick on and gap the chasing pack and lost every time. Moyes will get next season but needs to grow a pair and look to win games.

Problem is this is never happening. This is his 750th PL game. He is not going to learn anything new at this point, or meaningfully change in any way.

So what is the point of giving him another season? I just don't get it.

Biggest opportunity we will ever have for a true fresh start and clean slate, and instead of embracing that we're prioritising the comfort of familiarity. A truly ambitious club with a long term vision doesn't keep Moyes in place. Job was to stabilise us, job done, thanks and goodbye.
