That was like so many games at goodison recently, home team dominates the game and the territory but come away with a 0-1 having not really given too many chances away.

Branthwaite best player on the pitch, my choice for MoM.

A good defensive display all round, and with better finishing it could have been a more convincing win, but definitely a confidence boost.

In case anyone was in any doubt, Jarrod Bowen scored both of Hammers goals against us last season, the commentator only mentioned it 3 or 4 times lol

Branthwaite, Tarkwoski, Pickford, Mykolenko and Onana all excellent. But for the one and only piece of Everton quality, match winner DCL gets my man of the match.

McNeil, Doucoure and Harrison were all about 3/10 today. So mad we won with them all playing 90 mins.

Went DCL bc goals win games and his all around play was superb

But Branthwaite and Onana were also very good

Slowly but surely Onana is becoming who we have hoped he can become. Still a long way to go but he is improving all the time
