He won't go near them after last time, even he isn't that thick to think he'd be on anything other than a hiding to nothing if he went back. They should have gone for Dyche, he's the type of manager who'd improve them year on year but I doubt he'd be popular appointment.
West Ham really need to have a long think about what they are and what they can realistically expect. For years they've believed they're top 6 club that just needs a leg up when they've never been a top 6 club ever in their history. I don't knock them or any club for having ambition and wanting to break through a glass ceiling but you have to be realistic in your planning, they've spent the last 3 summers signing players who are good for selling shirts and nothing else instead of properly building.
Allardyce will go anywhere......even back to West Ham, If he's offered enough money!
You think he cares about fans venting at him. He'll go in there, get them safe from relegation and consider it a job well done. Footie will be s**te but he won't care and neither will their board. The fans are an after thought.
Anyway, none of this will matter if they get a couple of goals from set pieces while we're "in the zone" and scrape a win against us. Pellegrini will be back on track and the first four games will be forgotten.
As for a rivalry, i've been with Everton all my life, went home and away for years and the supposed rivalry doesn't exist, except perhaps in the '70's & '80's with the footie violence, but then everybody was a rival. We go to your place and we get a kicking, you come to our place and you get a kicking. Except for Leicester, Ipswich, Coventry & Bolton. We come to your place and you get a kicking!
