I cannot believe people expected any more than this.

He's doing what we all knew he would do.

This is better than getting smashed every week. But I think some preferred that.
You"re right Ijjy. He's delivering what I expected of him. Which is why I didn't watch him here.

I expect us to be able to go to a botom 3 team with a bit more adventure than playing a back 5 with 2 DMs.

I mean we're not conceding goals with Cuco Martina starting at left back every game.

Quite remarkable really.

Indeed. We're basically saying to the opposition, attack us down your right, and whip the ball into the area to give us some heading practice.
It's pure tactical genius, and it's working too.

Agree, what do people want? From where we were when he joined big Sam has worked a minor miracle in stopping our defence from shipping the amount of goals beforehand and setting us on an unbeaten run.
Can't argue with the fact it's not pretty but he has to work with the players that he has at his disposal.
He has signed an 18 month contract so he's only here to steady the ship which he has done well. I believe Sam is the first proper leader we've had in sometime and believe our style will improve after the January window and once we get the likes of Seamus back.
He's stopped the rot let's be patient where the performances are concerned, they will get better.

Maybe the turnaround in fortunes has happened too quickly and it's genuinely taken everyone by surprise.

Let's face it, a few weeks ago nobody other than the ever optimistic @Khalekan gave us a snowballs chance in a furnace of a result at Analfield and most would probably have expected a loss against Chelsea...

Stay patient folks, January shopping starts soon and a couple of prudent additions and maybe an even more couple of prudent departures might just see an upturn in attacking play ?

I do agree with people when they say we should be beating that West Brom team. But it really isn't as simple as that.
