We need to play footy when we've got the ball. Not much sticking up top and we've looked OK when we play it on the deck. Actually think this is the sort of game that suits niasse, he will chase down every ball and would give dcl a bit of help up top. Hope to see Davies given another 10 or 15 and if we are still struggling get niasse on for him, go two up top and drop sigurdsson back a bit.

I think Davies is suffering this season from really poor movement in front of him, and his weaknesses are starting to show. He was terrific when he had Coleman, Kev, Ross and Lukaku (yes he made solid counter attacking runs) making runs in behind. Dom is too predictable and likes to hang with the last man, so he is less suited for that type of game. Kenny doesn't have nearly the same threat going forward as Coleman. Kev, while everyone hates him, frequently moved well when he was on his game. Barkley was actually kinda decent and could carry the ball. Rom lived for the counter.

It really is poor the way even in this system Martina and Kenny are deployed defensively. They should bombing down the flanks.
